Bio-Inspired Sciences and Technology Research

I was grateful to be offered a position as a team member of the Mechanical section of the BIST research. In the short time I have been part of this research I have gained experience in modeling with Fusion 360, and am currently working with the team on how we can create a more compact body for the bat by changing the orientation or the electronics of the internals of the body. My first contribution to the team was creating an initial model of a mechanism to connect each panel of the body surrounding the internals. Below are some visuals of the project so far!

The attaching links I modeled for each panel of the body, which is shown below. I will be further working on modeling them to fit into the curves of the panels.
