Professional Projects
During my freshman year at Virginia Tech, I joined Promoting Electric Propulsion, a student led design team focusing on creating an electrically propelled autonomous hull. This design team sparked my interest as I have always been a believer in technologies that maximize environmentally cleaner power sources. The idea of combining this ideology as well as getting more experience in CAD and the manufacturing processes seemed like the perfect combination for me.
I recently joined the Bio-Inspired Sciences and Technology Research group during my spring semester of my sophomore year. The main idea of this research project is to study and simulate a bat's use of echolocation. The team was in need of a mechanical engineering major with experience in CAD design, and obtaining experience and gaining knowledge from graduate students and professors seemed like a great opportunity for me.
Below, you can go through my experiences with these projects in more detail!
