About Me

Hey there! I'm Tusar.

(Pronounced Too-shar)

I have always had interests in mathematics, physics, and the visual arts, which led me to engineering. Attending the Governor's Academy for Engineering Studies at Lloyd C. Bird High School peaked my interest in engineering, and through FIRST Robotics I was able to find a love for engineering design through CAD.

I have extensive experience in Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and SOLIDWORKS, and am always researching other CAD software that are popular in industry. I would like to develop my interests in engineering design and manufacturing through internships during the summer.

Other Things I Do!

Drawing and Painting

I have been drawing since before I can remember. In high school, I was awarded the Silver National Medal in Drawing for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. This award was given for a pen and ink drawing I had done of my little brother sitting by a creek we had discovered deep in the woods in our neighborhood shown below. The background of this website was my first digital drawing on my iPad!

Cars

From watching Cars as a kid to playing with Hot Wheels (to this day) and playing Forza and Need for Speed, cars are a big part of who I am. I love seeing how engineers are always making faster, more luxurious cars, and am also intrigued by the new electric cars that are on the market. I currently drive a Scion FR-S and am always looking at how I can give it a little bit more power.
